Get Inspired: The European Independent Film Festival

This past weekend marked the 6th annual European Independent Film Festival and I was invited to attend film screenings, which included student films, and  meet artists from not only all corners of Europe but from the States as well. 77 films from 26 different countries showcased over 3 days; a flawlessly organized event celebrating a passion and talent for film. I know very little about film, neither technically nor artistically, but indie films always blow me away. The films I viewed during the festival were no exception. Some were a bit more morose than I anticipated for a brilliantly sunny Saturday afternoon, but I’m so glad to have gotten the opportunity to participate.
