Update: Love what some of you have come up with! Hansel and Gretel, Lemony Snickett, Grimm’s Fairytale… what else?
…
After bike riding through Giverny in what was the first genuine bout of physical activity since I hurt my back (boy, did it feel good), we made a stop on the grassy knoll by the water just before crossing the bridge to Vernon. With only the faint sound of giggles and chatter from visitors strolling through the park or laying out by the Seine, it was just the calm we needed to end the day before boarding the train back to Paris. I watched the pigeons flock to the top of this little house in swarms – another 30 perched themselves with their buddies just after I took the picture. All I could think about was how much this charming yet somewhat ominous house reminded me of something straight out of Tim Burton’s imagination. What do you see?
