Okay, I’m lame. I don’t care. I am too thrilled to have this little one home and if you don’t like cats, then you’re a communist. Just kidding! Even if you don’t like animals, or you don’t like cats, I’m sure you can imagine the joy of a pet-owner reunion. When you’re used to a furry body plopped on your stomach at night while you sleep, or a friendly meow (or woof) when you come home from work, two whole weeks without that is… well, long! I know she enjoyed herself, though. My in-laws have a house while we have a one bedroom apartment which, by default, means more room to run, jump, play, hide and get into trouble. She has now returned to her sedentary lifestyle.
My husband kindly took the hour long trip to his parents house to pick her up,(it’s actually four hours if you count the trip to the train, the train to his parents, walking to their house, and back) since they are on vacation (in Morocco, how lucky. She’s an important part of our lives and I’m relieved she’s home. She’s the star of the video anyway, not the dork with the glasses.
Note: Cédric said I looked “intéllo-sexy” in my glasses. Yes, that’s a mix of intellectual and sexy. Too bad it doesn’t come across on video! Epic fail.
