Some of you may have already heard of Bob’s Juice Bar, the go-to spot in the 10th near the Canal St. Martin for ardent fresh juice and smoothie fans. Founded and run by American expat Marc Grossman, a filmmaker and writer, the Juice Bar fills a void in the market by offering healthy wraps, vegan soups and salads, muffins, and fresh seasonal-fruit juices and smoothies.
At the end of August, Grossman opened his latest restaurant, KITCHEN – a similar concept to Bob’s Juice Bar, focusing on veggie & vegan soups, salads and treats, fresh fruit juices and smoothies, stews, and organic fruit pancakes with or without gluten. With a minimalist décor, undeniably friendly service (including Marc who I spoke to while he made my smoothie), and a prime location (tucked between Arts-et-Métiers and Beaubourg), it’s THE place to go for fun healthy breakfast & lunch fare. With family-style snug seating, the place fills up fast so be sure to reserve a spot on the weekends!
